Humane USA and Protect Pets and Wildlife Endorsements for Washington State’s November 7th General Election for the House of Representatives

Humane USA is the nation's largest animal protection political action committee.  To learn more, please visit us on line at http://www.humaneusa.org

How candidate endorsements were selected?

All candidates for this years endorsements received a questionnaire explaining their position on issues of importance to us this coming session.

For candidates holding office and seeking re-election, we also examined their voting records, what legislation they have sponsored or co-sponsored, their response to and/or actions in support or opposition to issues of great importance to animals. In most instances, we have a working relationship with the office holder already.

In addition, we rely on our supporters to inform us of individuals running for office who are supportive of animal issues. In some instances, candidates seek us out.
